A few years ago, I fell asleep leaning against some kind of boiling pipe. Woke up in the morning, and it had burned the hell out of my arm. I'm paralyzed so I never felt a thing. But it messed up all the tattoos on my goddamn arm."

The lakes leftover from the last Ice Age are over. Minnesota is in the rearview.

We traveled about eighty miles today and we're in Fargo, North Dakota. Hello open fields and prairies.

We're picking up mail in Moorehead on Monday. Until then, we're staying over Tanner's apartment from CouchSurfing. He's amazing. We watched the movie Fargo and we're going to explore the little city tomorrow.
