"This is absolutely beautiful!"

Just wanted to drop in with an update. Haven't had the time or the internet to write much and there's so much to say. I have learned a plethora of information since Fargo; mostly about North Dakota, its geography, economy, and the history behind Fargo. I dunno how much I'll be able to squeeze in within the coming days but I'll do my best.

First and foremost, a very special and sincere thank you to my Aunt Dede, my Mom, JoAnne and Bill Johnson, the Logan clan, Annie, and my grandpop. Seriously, I cannot thank you guys enough for everything. Once again, humankind has rescued us.

We were in Fargo, North Dakota for three days, including the evening we got here. We hadn't planned on the little city being so charming and beautiful. A big thank you to our CouchSurfing hosts, Lacey and Tanner for showing us to all of the best places in town.

Now, we're in Gackle, North Dakota. Stumbling around the little town as the sun was going down, we met a friendly man named Jay who has given us his home to stay in for the night. We had a few beers and a late evening, so there isn't much time to go into further detail. We spent last night in Little Yellowstone Park at the bottom of one of the bigger hills in North Dakota.

We'll be in the state capital in two days: Bismarck.

North Dakota has been pretty spectacular.
